Acceptance of terms
By accessing the Swisspector website or using ChainGuard, you agree to these terms. If you are using ChainGuard on behalf of an institution, you confirm you have the authority to accept these terms for that institution.
Description of service
The Swisspector public website is provided for product information, company positioning, and access to ChainGuard. Product availability, pilot access, and commercial terms may depend on the customer, use case, and onboarding requirements, and are set out in more detail in individual customer agreements.
Acceptable use
ChainGuard may not be used to circumvent sanctions or compliance obligations, to misrepresent the origin or ownership of a wallet, or to automate abusive traffic against the platform. Accounts, API keys, cases, reports, or access may be limited, suspended, or removed if they create legal, security, abuse, infrastructure, sanctions, fraud, or platform risk.
Decision-support disclaimer
Security, compliance, and wallet information presented by ChainGuard should support review and operational decision-making. It is not legal, financial, tax, investment, AML, sanctions, or security certification advice. ChainGuard risk signals, wallet checks, AI summaries, and reports are decision-support outputs — they do not guarantee that a wallet, user, merchant, transaction, or counterparty is safe, lawful, sanctioned, unsanctioned, compliant, or non-compliant. Final decisions remain the responsibility of the customer's trained reviewers.
Service availability
ChainGuard is provided on an as-available basis. We aim for reliable uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access, and scheduled maintenance or unplanned incidents may affect availability from time to time.
Intellectual property
The ChainGuard product, its underlying software, and the Swisspector website remain the property of Swisspector. Customers retain ownership of the wallet, workflow, and business data they submit to the product.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Swisspector's liability arising from use of the website or ChainGuard is limited to the amount paid by the customer for the service in the relevant period. Swisspector is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from reliance on decision-support output.
Termination
Either party may terminate access to ChainGuard under the terms of the applicable customer agreement. On termination, we will work with the customer on a reasonable data export or deletion process consistent with our retention obligations.
Governing law
Governing law and jurisdiction for a specific engagement are set out in the applicable customer agreement. Absent a signed agreement, these terms are intended to be interpreted in good faith and do not by themselves establish a specific jurisdiction.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated as the product and business evolve. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date.
